3 Ingredient Pistachio Dark Chocolate Bark | A Sweet Pea Chef

Hey there. Lacey here with A Sweet Pea Chef. If you love those fancy-pants chocolate bars at the checkout aisle at the grocery store that sell for $4 to $5 a pop, today I’m going to show you how to do it for way cheaper and still get all those delicious flavors. So let’s get started. First, we’re going to start by placing a sheet of parchment paper over a flat baking sheet and then setting it aside. Next, we need to melt our chocolate, which is really easy to do in a bowl over boiling water. To set this up, fill a saucepan with about two to three inches of water, and then bring to a boil. Then, place a large glass mixing bowl on top of the saucepan, making sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t actually touch the boiling water. Add the dark chocolate chips to the glass bowl, and then stir the chocolate chips as they slowly melt. For the best chocolate, I recommend looking for anything with 70% cacao or higher. That way, you know it’s the least processed, has the least amount of sugar, and has the most health benefits for you. All right, now that the chocolate is melting, we’re looking for a texture to be smooth and pourable.

Once it’s that, go ahead and pour that melted smooth chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and carefully spread the chocolate around in an even layer that’s about a quarter-inch thick. We’re going to sprinkle with some roughly chopped pistachios and a little bit of coarse sea salt evenly over the chocolate, and then place the entire baking sheet into the freezer for a good 25 to 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to completely freeze. Next, remove the chocolate from the freezer, and then break it into a bunch of uneven pieces, and then enjoy. See how easy it is to make your own healthy, delicious chocolate treat at home? I hope you love this recipe as much as we do.

And make sure to check out my frozen yogurt bark recipe for another great way to make your own healthy treat at home. Thanks so much. I’ll see you next time..

Chocolate Pistachio Truffles | The Vegan Corner

Hello and welcome to The Vegan Corner. Not all sweets are created equal, and chocolate truffles are surely amongst the most delicious of all sweet preparations. These little bombs can deliver bags of flavour at every bite you take, and since they are quick to make too, there isn’t really a good reason not to give them a try. Unless obviously you never liked chocolate to begin with, but in that case I wonder why you clicked on the video. To begin with, finely chop the chocolate, mix it with the chopped nuts and set the mixture aside for later use. Next, place the dates, the cocoa powder, the coconut oil, the agave nectar, the vanilla extract and the pistachios into a food processor and blend the ingredients together until you obtain a sticky and shiny mass, which is in fact the final mixture for the truffles.

Place the mixture into a bowl and place it in the fridge to rest for 20 minutes before moving on. Once the time has elapsed, you can remove the mixture from the fridge and portion it into pieces of the desired size using a spoon. There isn’t really a perfect size for the truffles, but I can personally guarantee that aiming for golf ball-sized bites, is unlikely to bring you the results you want. Using a teaspoon, we managed to get about 20 truffles, which are much better than 2 golf ball-sized ones… or not! Once that’s done, you simply have to roll the portions into balls using your hands, dip them into the pistachio-chocolate coating, and place them onto a dish to complete the recipe. To get an even better consistency, place the finished truffles into the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving. And here are the final truffles, coated to perfection and ready for you to attack them.

At this point you have two choices: eat them all by yourself and hide any evidence that they were ever made, or invite your friends or parents for a tea, and share the truffles with them. I think it’s better if I don’t say what option I actually prefer. If you enjoyed today’s video, please don’t forget to give it a thumbs up before moving on and subscribe if you haven’t already. Many thanks for watching and on to the next video..

Pistachio Delight Dessert Recipe ~ St Patrick’s Day Pistachio Nut Fluff

Pistachio Heavenly Delight pudding. If you like pistachios, you’re going to love this dessert! I’m Tess and welcome to my kitchen. This Pistachio pudding salad is a favorite of my husband’s. He had it when he was growing up. It’s not my thing but, He likes it and I make. It it is a variation of the Watergate salad and we call it Pistachio Delight. Thought you might like to see how I make it. It’s also a great dessert to take to get togethers. This Pistachio Delight recipe is easy with just a few ingredients and you can find this recipe in the description box below. You need two boxes of instant Pistachio pudding. Just follow the box instructions and add two cups of cold milk for each box. So this recipe will require four cups. Give it a good stir and this is ready in five minutes but I pop it in the fridge for at least an hour to get everything chilled and set. It’s been an hour and next I’m mixing in some mini marshmallows, one large can of drained fruit cocktail. and finally a good helping of Cool Whip.

Giving it a good stir to make sure everything is well combined. I just love that beautiful color! Refrigerating for at least another hour it’s even better overnight as the mini marshmallows absorb some of the pistachio pudding. Pistachio Phirni (Rice Pudding) Recipe by Manjula

Today I will be making pistachios phirni. A delightful popular North Indian dessert. This is like a eggless pudding. A very basic recipe using rice, milk and sugar. And has a very creamy texture. This has same ingredients as rice kheer, but tastes very different. And it’s very easy to make. This recipe will serve 6. To make pistachios phirni we will need: cups of milk 1/4 cup of rice Which I have already washed and soaked for about half an hour and drained the water.

You can use any white rice. 1/2 cup of sugar 6 green cardamom pods I have shelled and crushed. Few strings of saffron. 1/4 cup of pistachios I have soaked the pistachios in hot water for about 15 minutes, drain the water and rub between paper towel to remove the skin and then slice them. First I will blend the rice to make a thick batter. First I will put the rice in blender. Now add about 2 tablespoons of milk. And blend it. And shake it one time and blend again. Batter is ready. I have blended for about 30 seconds. So let’s open. So this looks good. I am going to add about 1/4 cup of milk.

And we are going to keep this aside and we will add this batter latter in the milk. First I will boil the milk over medium high heat. I like to use the heavy bottom pan but before putting the milk I will wet the pan inside and this helps and avoid not to burn the milk from the bottom. I also leave about 1 tablespoon of water in the pan. So I will add the milk. After milk comes to boil, then reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for about 12 minutes. After milk came to boil, I reduced the heat to medium and it has been boiling for 6 minutes. And we have to boil for may be 6-7 more minutes. Do stir the milk in between scraping the sides. It has been 12 minutes and now I will add the rice batter slowly and keep mixing so there is no lumps. And you will see as soon as it comes to boil milk will start looking thick. As you see milk is looking thick and it will get thicker as it comes to boil.

Do keep stirring it and cleaning the sides. After it comes to boil you have boil it for another 3-4 minutes. And do keep stirring. So this has been about 4 minutes and as you it’s like a thick batter. So now I am going to add the sugar. Cardamom Saffron And pistachios. Just save about 1 tablespoon of pistachio to garnish it. And stir it. Again cook for about another 3 minutes and do keep stirring otherwise it will become very lumpy. And it should be creamy. It has been about minutes. As you see this has become very thick consistency. And we have to turn off the heat and pour in the serving bowl while still it is hot.

Because as it gets cold phirni will start becoming very thick. I will just pour the phirni in the individual serving bowls. It’s looking very nice. Saffron has given very nice color and nice flavor. Now we can just garnish on the top. Looking nice color. Pistachio phirni is ready. But before serving you have to refrigerate this for about 2 hours. It tastes really good when it is chilled. Pistachio phirni is looking beautiful. Has a nice aroma of cardamom and saffron. This is one of my favorite dessert. Serve this exotic dessert for your next get together. Your guests will enjoy it. Thank you. Till we meet again, check out more recipes on manjulaskitchen.com..
